Hello there!
http://mep.metrohm.com.au/2015/08/19/nirs-for-blending-and-refinery-processes/
Hope this mail finds you really well and gearing up for a good Christmas, and with the sore legs and backsides of Nelson’s Tour de Test Valley back in Sept a distant – but hopefully good memory!

It was a truly amazing day and together you helped us raise an incredible £60,000 for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). A staggering figure and one that the charity are truly grateful for, and will help them make a real impact on reducing male suicide – the biggest killer of young men in the UK right now.

In 2012 77% of all suicides in the UK were male, with a crazy average of 12 men a day. Suicide also accounted for the deaths of more young men than road traffic accidents and murder combined.

There are big plans a foot next year for CALM as they continue their plight to raise awareness of the modern man’s struggle, to help men express themselves easier, so they can ask for help without been seen as ‘less of a man’ and tackle the debilitating stigmas surrounding depression.

So there’s lots of work to do and lot of this wouldn’t be possible without the help your legs provided!

So we have some good news – Nelson’s Tour de Test Valley is back for 2014 and NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES.

CONFIRMED DATE IS: Sat 20th September

It’s the same great location and format as last year and again we will be striving to give you the best possible day in the saddle, filling your bellies with amazing food and drink, both on route and at Ride HQ. (the cider at the end went down pretty well last year!) We really hope you’re up for joining us on the start line again and at the bar afterwards!

We also hope we can raise more money for this truly worthy cause and continue to support CALM’s tireless work.

The only bit of slight bad news if we’ve had to put the entry fee up by £5, this is because British Cycling have now doubled their insurance cost to all event organisers due to the sheer number of events they insure and resulting claims. We have kept this increase to the very minimum possible so we hope you understand.

As it was you guys who helped launch this ride, and made it such a special day – we would like to offer you the first online entries before we advertise it and open it up to anyone else. We will be limiting online places to 800 riders this year which we expect to sell out, especially with coverage the event received in Cycling Weekly and local press.

Please follow this link to secure your entry, it’s the same process as last year.

We will be promoting the event from the first week in January so try and get your entries in before then.

We would love to welcome you back to the Test Valley next year and promise to do everything we can to make it a fun day out. Even if that does mean hand baking another 1000 chocolate brownies!

Have a great Christmas and New Year, try and sneak a few miles in, and apparently Eggnog is the perfect recovery drink.

Best wishes,

Marcus, Chris Pratt and the TdTV team.
